Tennis legend Jim Courier and four of the brightest stars in the sport visit Florida's Suncoast to benefit the St. Petersburg Tennis Center and the USTA's First Serve Program. U.S. Open Champion Andy Roddick, Davis Cup standard bearer James Blake, nine-time Grand Slam champion Monica Seles and three-time Grand Slam champion Jennifer Capriati took the court to help kids from an economically challenged area of the city. First Serve offers a blend of tennis, computers, academics and mentoring under the direction of Rick Crockett, an outstanding coach who played on the all-Army team and coached more than 17 years at the Harry Hopman Academy. "When I saw the work that Rick and his coaches were doing, I was inspired," said Courier. "You see how many kids they help - on and off the court - and you just want to get involved."
